The ladies were more interested in unattractive men who had acted kindly than handsome guys who had acted selfishly.
It’s pretty obvious why: Nice guys will treat her well, the researchers say. They’ll text her back, help with chores, spoon after sex, and make great fathers.
Of course, it doesn’t always play out this way in real life. Jerks don’t come with a warning label, so it can take her a while to figure out that the hot guy she’s hooking up with is actually a sleaze ball.
But rest assured: Once she gets to know you, kindness gives you the upper hand.
